McCall elected to RNC committee

We would like to send out a hearty congratulations to Republican National Committeeman and York County Republican Party Chairman Glenn McCall, who was elected on Thursday to the RNC Resolutions Committee for the Southern Region. Glenn has been at the forefront of building our conservative majority in South Carolina and his expertise that we’ve known about for some time is also getting recognized on the national stage.

In announcing the election, RNC chairman Reince Priebus said, “Having served as a member of the Rules Committee, Glenn’s understanding of the nuts and bolts of RNC will be essential as we continue to grow our Party and turn this committee around. I look forward to working with Glenn as we strengthen our Party and amass the necessary resources to make Barack Obama a one term president.”

There are eight members of the Resolutions Committee and two from the Southern Region. The Resolutions Committee considers all resolutions submitted by a member of the RNC for adoption by the party, and the Southern Region is comprised of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

Glenn’s election is great for the party but not exactly unexpected because of his amazing leadership capabilities. I’ve really valued his leadership in South Carolina, and we’re excited about Glenn’s new position and wish him the best of luck.

Sinecerly,

Karen Floyd
