Columbia, SC. – South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick released the following statement today in response to Rep. Joe Cunningham’s town hall in Charleston:

“Just a month ago, Joe Cunningham sided with Nancy Pelosi and the extremist Dems over the wishes of Lowcountry voters when it came to impeachment. Today’s town hall made it clear that Joe Cunningham will continue to say anything to try and convince people that he is a moderate. After voting for impeachment and with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez more than 85 percent of the time, it’s clear that he is no moderate. South Carolinians will remember how Cunningham chose his party over the Lowcountry when they go to the ballot box this November.”
