“This is another big win for President Trump and the people of South Carolina. The historic phase one trade deal with China will ensure that South Carolina’s manufacturing and farming industries continue to grow and prosper, while also cracking down on China’s unfair and egregious trade practices. Under this agreement, China has also agreed to purchase at least $200 billion in American products over the next two years. As a manufacturing and farming state, we are proud to finally have a president who is focused on creating trade deals that put our country and people first.”
