What is Democrat Annie Andrews hiding?
(Columbia, S.C.) – Congressional candidates are required to submit financial disclosure reports to the U.S. House of Representatives Clerk’s Office, and less than two months away from the election, SC-01 Democrat nominee Dr. Annie Andrews still has not filed her report. See below for South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick’s full statement:
“What is Democrat Annie Andrews hiding? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to file these reports, but even if they were challenging, are they too complicated for a Doctor? Either Andrews can’t figure out how to file them or ask for an extension, or she’s hiding something. We’re not sure which reason is worse.
“But because Annie Andrews has not submitted her financial reports, we submitted a complaint to the U.S. House Ethics Committee this morning. Voters in the First Congressional District deserve to know what Annie Andrews is hiding, or at the very least an answer as to why she has not submitted them or requested an extension.”
