Christie, Burgum, and Binkley file in South Carolina
(Columbia, S.C.) – Former Governor Chris Christie, Governor Doug Burgum, and Ryan Binkley are officially on the ballot for South Carolina’s Presidential Preference Primary. The South Carolina Republican Party has received both the filing paperwork and the filing fee as of Monday, October 30th, 2023.
Currently, the presidential candidates that have filed in South Carolina are as follows, in filing date order: Governor Ron DeSantis, Former President Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Senator Tim Scott, Former Governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Former Governor Chris Christie, Governor Doug Burgum, and Ryan Binkley.
Candidates have until Tuesday, October 31st by 5 p.m. to file to be on the South Carolina Presidential Preference Primary ballot. The SC Primary is set for February 24th, 2024.
