SC Primary Filing Closed, List of Candidates
(Columbia, S.C.) – The filing for candidates to be on the South Carolina Republican Party’s Presidential Primary ballot has closed, as of October 31st, 5 PM. Below is the list of candidates that have filed with the South Carolina Republican Party, in filing date order:
Governor Ron DeSantis, Former President Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Senator Tim Scott, Former Governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Former Governor Chris Christie, Governor Doug Burgum, Ryan Binkley, David Stuckenberg, and John Anthony Castro.
These candidates will be certified by the South Carolina Republican Party and sent to the State Election Commission. The South Carolina Republican Party’s Presidential Primary will be held on February 24th, 2024.
