Mark Bonnoitt, Political Director

Mark Bonnoitt joined the SCGOP as Political Director in January of 2021. Mark played a critical role in the 2020 campaign cycle by serving as the Victory 2020 Data Director for the SCGOP and Midlands Field Director for Senator Lindsey Graham. Prior to the 2020 cycle, Mark was the Midlands Field Director for Governor Henry McMaster. Mark is a proud son of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, being born and raised in Florence. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During Mark’s time at the University of South Carolina, he served as the President of Kappa Alpha Order and volunteered on numerous local and state political campaigns. Additionally, Mark worked as a page for Representative Jay Jordan and Senator Hugh Leatherman throughout his time in college. When Mark isn’t on the campaign trail or attending a local GOP event, you can catch him enjoying South Carolina’s outdoors on the links or on the water with his family and friends. Mark can be counted as one of the Gamecocks’ most ardent fans and rarely misses a chance to cheer them on, whether on the field, court, or diamond.
