Monday night the Horry County GOP headquarters was packed with GOP activist from across the coastal region. They were there for the first of 10 SCGOP Academies that will be held through out the state. The crowd was full of faces familiar in South Carolina Republican circles; most of the attendees have been doing the hard work of electing GOP candidates for years.

The SCGOP Academy is the one of many new programs being instituted by South Carolina Republican Chairman Karen Floyd. The Academy is taught by some of the best and brightest political professionals in the country.

In conjunction with the Leadership Institute, the SCGOP has created a curriculum that will give grassroots activists the knowledge and resources they need to effectively and efficiently do the hard work of electing Republican candidates across the state of South Carolina.

The SCGOP Academy is a must-attend event for any and all GOP activists.
