The South Carolina Republican Party is looking for interns for the fall semester and spring semester in our main office in downtown Columbia and other opportunities across the state.
Interns will experience the fast-paced nature of politics while gaining hands-on work experience that will be useful in any professional setting. It’s a great way to build professional relationships and networking skills.
Intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Completing daily administrative duties
- Helping staff with fundraising events
- Assisting in communication, political, and financial tasks
- Volunteering at different political events
- galas, get out the vote efforts, rallies, and more
Ideal candidates are motivated, energetic problem-solvers who work well in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. The internship is unpaid and requires a minimum of 10 and no more than 20 hours per week, which is flexible around the candidate’s schedule and other commitments. All majors are welcome to apply, and class credit may be available depending on your major and school requirements.
If you are interested, please send a cover letter and detailed resume to Hailey Hall (email@example.com) 803-988-8440. If you are applying for the communications internship, please attach a writing sample, too.
