Today We Repealed Obamacare

When it was unpopular to speak out against the President, together, we stood by our principles and opposed Obamacare.

In 2010, millions of Americans opposed the passage of the government takeover of healthcare. Big-government liberal forces didn’t listen. Instead, Nancy Pelosi and her liberal friends passed this massive government spending program and forced a government mandated healthcare system upon us.

Today, I stood against President Obama’s liberal agenda by casting a vote to repeal Obamacare.

This past November, Americans made their voice heard and sent a message to Washington. Thanks to your hard work we took back the House and are on a renewed path of fiscal responsibility.

Unfortunately, today’s vote to repeal Obamacare has also emboldened Washington liberals who prefer more out of control spending and big government programs. With your support, we can continue to fight for taxpayers and free market solutions.

Today is a historic moment for our country, but it is just the beginning. Ending the government takeover of healthcare is only the first step to restoring fiscal stability and putting America back on a path to prosperity.
