Columbia, SC – Today, South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Chad Connelly called on Congressman Jim Clyburn to end his hypocrisy on growing South Carolina’s economy.

Congressman Clyburn yesterday tried to play both sides in the National Labor Relations Board’s attempt to stop Boeing from expanding into South Carolina, stating that the NLRB’s complaint lacks merit, yet defending its right to interfere with private enterprise.

“Jim Clyburn seems more interested in protecting Washington bureaucrats than South Carolinians,” said SCGOP Chairman Chad Connelly. “Defending big labor and its millions of dollars in campaign contributions on behalf of the Obama White House isn’t economic leadership. It’s a recipe for killing South Carolina jobs. Jim Clyburn’s hypocrisy is staggering.”
