Urgent: Support S.C. Republicans on Cut, Cap, and Balance
July 19, 2011
Dear Fellow Republican,
Just yesterday, a national newspaper said Barack Obama is a ‘no-show’ in South Carolina, despite visiting 40 other states in his first 2.5 years as President. Are you surprised at one more example of Obama’s “leading from behind”? I’m not.
Barack Obama can’t defend the NLRB’s attacking private sector jobs, shoving Obamacare down our throats, and racking up trillions in debt.
And now Barack Obama says he’s against the “Cut, Cap, and Balance” pledge that would cut federal spending, institute a spending cap, and add a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Thankfully, in South Carolina we have a Republican Governor and Congressional delegation whose number one priority is growing our private sector economy and not the size of government. Governor Nikki Haley, Senators Lindsey Graham and Jim DeMint, and Congressmen Joe Wilson, Jeff Duncan, Trey Gowdy, Mick Mulvaney, and Tim Scott are leading South Carolina and America with their support of “Cut, Cap, and Balance.”
But they need our help. TODAY, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the “Cut, Cap, and Balance” act. I urge you to support our Governor and Congressional delegation by making a generous contribution of $10, $20, $50 or more as soon as possible!
We MUST defend our South Carolina Republicans from the Democrats’ withering attacks and support the effort to restore America’s strength and guarantee our children and grandchildren’s economic future.
Now is the time to stand up for our next generation. Stopping the federal spending spree begins with cutting, capping, and balancing – and our South Carolina Republicans are leading by example.
Please contribute today and help Governor Nikki Haley and South Carolina’s Congressional delegation bring fiscal sanity back to the United States of America.
Proud to be a South Carolina Republican,
Chad Connelly
Chairman, South Carolina Republican Party
