Press Release: SCGOP selects Electoral College Members
Columbia, S.C. – On Saturday August 20, 2016, the S.C. Republican Party’s State Executive Committee selected the state’s nine (9) potential Republican members of the Electoral College. South Carolina’s nine Presidential Electors will cast their votes as part of the 538-member national Electoral College following the November 8 general election.
The following South Carolina Republicans were selected:
Glenn McCall of York County (Statewide)
Matt Moore of Lexington County (Statewide)
Terry Hardesty of Berkeley County (1st Congressional District)
Jim Ulmer of Orangeburg County (2nd Congressional District)
Brenda Bedenbaugh of Saluda County (3rd Congressional District)
Bill Conley of Spartanburg County (4th Congressional District)
Shery Smith of Sumter County (5th Congressional District)
Moye Graham of Clarendon County (6th Congressional District)
Jerry Rovner of Georgetown County (7th Congressional District)
