Gerald Malloy Finally Concedes Senate Race
(Columbia, S.C.) – Former Senator Gerald Malloy has officially conceded in the SC Senate 29 race. SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick released the following statement on this Republican victory:
“I’m glad to see former Senator Malloy agrees that it was finally time to listen to the will of the voters and concede the election. The people of District 29 worked hard to support a conservative Republican voice in the State Senate, and JD Chaplin will give it to them,” SCGOP Chairman McKissick stated.
“Republicans worked incredibly hard to take out a 22-year incumbent Democrat, and their hard work paid off!”
