BE IT RESOLVED that the Pickens County Republican Party favors, recommends, and petitions a Republican Party Rules change and, if needed, a change in South Carolina Law to state, “The Republican Party shall require that only those who register as Republicans shall vote in a Republican primary, all candidates filing to run in Republican primaries shall be registered as Republicans, and all elections for offices in South Carolina shall be by party.”
