This Week’s Tech Update

We’ve been having a great time ramping up our online presence over the past few weeks. In this quick video, Wesley tells us about our new activity on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. And as you can see, Wesley is very excited about Mr. Roger Milliken’s new fundraising match that will enable us to build a state-of-the-art media room…allowing for more than just a Starbucks pyramid background.

Video: SCGOP Announces Milliken Match

SC Republican Party Chairman Karen Floyd and upstate textile and manufacturing magnate Roger Milliken today announced that Milliken has agreed to make dollar-for-dollar matching donations to pay for the Party’s headquarters mortgage. The Party is using the opportunity to upgrade the facility to green building standards, also known as LEED standards, a concept introduced to the Party by Milliken. The cost between the mortgage balance and the needed upgrades is approximately $500,000, of which Milliken has agreed to match up to half of the mortgage balance on a dollar-for-dollar basis up until December 7, 2009.

During our press conference yesterday many people wanted to thank Mr. Roger Milliken for his continued support of our Party. This is a short video showcasing some of our friends as they express their gratitude for the great things Mr. Milliken has done for the South Carolina Republican Party.

I’m a Republican

We believe that President Obama is spending way too much of our hard-earned money. We believe that going more in debt to nations like China threatens our freedoms. We believe that government run health care is the wrong answers. We believe in the constitution of the United States of America. We believe in a strong national defense and secure borders. We believe our freedoms are granted by God.
