Call Barack Obama and Harry Reid TODAY
July 28, 2011
Fellow Republican,
Our nation is at a crossroads and Speaker John Boehner and Congressional Republicans need our help in solving the debt ceiling crisis.
The Obama-fueled, liberal political machine is at full throttle – flooding Washington with phone calls attacking Republicans – while at the same time trying to scare seniors and hardworking taxpayers. Democrats blame Republicans for gridlock, yet our party only leads one-sixth of the federal government.
It’s clear: Barack Obama and Harry Reid are failing to lead.
Courageous Republicans proposed the Cut, Cap and Balance plan in Washington to cut spending, cap government growth, and balance the federal budget. Despite the plan passing the House of Representatives with bipartisan support, Harry Reid and liberal Senate Democrats refused to even allow a debate.
Call Harry Reid at 202-224-3452 and tell him to bring Cut, Cap and Balance back to the Senate and make Democrats explain their objections to the bill.
We know America’s future is more important than the political games led by Barack Obama and Harry Reid. As the leader of our nation, Barack Obama should present his own plan. But he hasn’t. Senator Mitch McConnell has offered a plan, and Speaker Boehner and Congressional Republicans have offered multiple options.
Yet Democrats in the Senate refuse to debate the Republican solution and Barack Obama refuses to even make his plan public. Call Barack Obama at 202-456-1111 and tell him to stop playing petty politics, and instead present his plan to the American people. It is time for the President to take a stand.
Tell Barack Obama and Harry Reid that it is time they give up their partisan posturing and enact a plan that cuts spending, caps the growth of government and balances the budget.
Our country’s future is at stake.
