Columbia, South Carolina. – South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick released the following statement regarding today’s Supreme Court ruling:

“Unlike what liberals suggest, politics does not have a place in the courtroom. Today’s ruling is a clear win for constitutionalism and keeping the judiciary out of politics, and politics out of the judiciary. While Democrats will continue to try and win in court because they can’t win at the ballot box, I agree with the majority opinion which stated that the solution does not lie ‘with the federal judiciary.'”
