KING OF PORK BARREL SPENDING NOW SENDING MONEY TO WRONG DISTRICT Columbia, SC – December 22, 2009 – Rep. Jim Clyburn’s reputation for spreading around Congressional earmarks is legendary. Now, he’s taking it one step further by sending pork all the way to California. Clyburn intended to earmark $100,000 for a library in Jamestown, South Carolina. But through an inexcusable lack of due diligence on his and the rest of the Democratically-controlled Congress’ part, the earmark instead was sent to Jamestown, California.
