We can win 39 seats in just 39 days! In just 39 days, we have a tremendous opportunity to send a loud message to the big-spenders in Washington by electing Mick Mulvaney as the 39th seat that Republicans need to retake the House. Electing Mick and retiring the current Budget Chairman is the best way to put an end to business as usual in Congress. The days of reckless borrowing and spending without a budget have endangered this nation’s fiscal future and we should not stand for it anymore. The simple truth is that Mick’s calls for a leaner, more

One of South Carolina taxpayers’ greatest adversaries is coming to Charleston next week for a visit. It appears that House Speaker and liberal elitist Nancy Pelosi is scheduled to deliver a keynote address for the Charleston branch of the NAACP. It should come as no surprise that Pelosi is taking the time to stop in South Carolina, seeing as how she has specifically targeted our diverse and conservative candidates for destruction. For months now, she has been actively funneling money into the campaign accounts of Democrats across the state. So why does a liberal California Congresswoman care so much about
Columbia, SC – September 12, 2010 – South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Karen Floyd released the following statement today upon hearing about the passing of Representative Bill Wylie. “South Carolina Republicans are saddened today to learn of Representative Wylie’s passing. In just two short years he became known as a fervent conservative watchdog who fought for South Carolina taxpayers and families. It’s a shame that our state will no longer benefit from his hard work and public service. We keep the entire Wylie family in our prayers.”
U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson Wednesday unveiled his first television ad attacking his opponent, Beaufort Democrat Rob Miller. Wilson, the Republican incumbent who has held the 2nd Congressional District seat since 2002, challenged Miller to return more than $300,000 in campaign donations to a liberal group that has been critical of military operations in Iraq. Miller, a former Marine Corps captain who served a combat tour in Iraq, has made his combat leadership a central part of his campaign. Moveon.org, a California-based group that organizes for liberal causes on the Internet, called Gen. David Petraeus “General Betray Us” in a 2007
Today, the South Carolina Republican Party’s Victory 2010 program announced the launching of a new website created to promote and encourage absentee voting in South Carolina, www.SCabsentee.com. Many people are unaware that they may be eligible to vote by mail using an absentee ballot. Those who are aware are sometimes intimidated by the process. In 2008, some people experienced long lines at their county voter registration office or a busy signal when they tried to begin the absentee process over the phone. Now, thanks to the SCGOP and the Victory 2010 program, accomplishing the first step and beginning the absentee
It seems that the South Carolina Democratic Party is utilizing the last tool in its depleted arsenal: hopeless optimism. At a time when there is a groundswell of anti-liberal fervor building across the state, what other options are available for a Democrat? In a recent article by the “IslandPacket.com”, Democrats in Hilton Head announced their newfound “optimism” for the November elections. The article stated, “Beaufort County Democrats expressed optimism Sunday afternoon that Democrats will reclaim the gubernatorial and 2nd District congressional seats, a feat that will be accomplished in large part to volunteer and grassroots efforts throughout the state.” Click
Lancaster, S.C. – The Mulvaney for Congress campaign today launched its first television ad, which will be shown district-wide. The ad introduces voters to Mick, his wife Pam, and their triplets.
