Friday marks a historic occassion for the South Carolina Republican Party and we want you to join us for the celebration. Three months ago we set out to pay off all our debt and own our headquarters out right. Doing so puts us in a much better position to spend our resources on winning in 2010. With Congressman Wilson and Senator DeMint up for re-election, we have to build a strong conservative organization in every corner of the state.

We’re sending a Thank You card to Senator Jim DeMint and we want to include your name. Senator DeMint has become a national conservative leader for his fight to stop President Obama’s ultra-liberal agenda. This week Senator DeMint was attacked by Obama crony Chad McGowan, because he’s been working tirelessly to elect strong conservatives to the United States Senate. McGowan says that Senator DeMint is ignoring South Carolina but you and I both know that nothing could be further from the truth. The best thing Senator DeMint can do for South Carolina families is to fight off Washington liberals and
MCGOWAN STATES, CHANGES POSITION ON PUBLIC OPTION IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS Columbia, SC – December 1 2009 – A South Carolina Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, Chad McGowan, today set a new land-speed record for flip-flopping, doing a 180 on public option health care in less than 48 hours. On the popular social networking Web site Twitter, McGowan said Sunday that he would support a healthcare bill “with or without” President Obama’s public option plan. With all of the challenges we face as a state and as a nation, sometimes it is easy to lose sight of the fact that we are truly the most blessed country on the earth. Today we are thankful for our friends and neighbors, to whom we are far more united by our commonalities than we could ever be by our differences. Today we are thankful for a nation where we are free to disagree. Today we are thankful for the tens of thousands of soldiers who are putting themselves in harm’s way to protect and defend that freedom. Today
Many of the instrumental leaders in bringing Boeing to South Carolina were on hand at the Groundbreaking last Friday. Including Senator DeMint, Senator Graham, Speaker Harrell, State Senators McConnell and Leatherman. They all spoke about the enormous impact that Boeing will have on our entire state. All these Republicans are leading the charge to turn our state around and are making South Carolina a leader in industry. Without these men thousands of jobs would be headed to Washington instead of South Carolina. We have attached footage from the Groundbreaking so that everyone could witness this historic moment.
President Barack Obama and his liberal allies in Congress are continuing to put our nation further in debt with government-run health care, automotive takeovers, and stimulus packages that are now creating jobs in make-believe congressional districts. Read more. Are you ready to rack up even more debt beyond what we now owe to foreign nations like China? If so, the South Carolina Democratic Party is here to help.
President Obama’s massive stimulus package is creating a lot of jobs in South Carolina. 8,147 jobs to be exact. According to the Obama Administration’s new website at www.recovery.gov, the jobs were created in South Carolina’s 16th, 43rd, 45th, 32nd and 12th Congressional districts. There’s just one problem. The Congressional districts are fake. South Carolina only has 6 Congressional districts. Fake districts. Fake jobs.
