July 19, 2011 Dear Fellow Republican, Just yesterday, a national newspaper said Barack Obama is a ‘no-show’ in South Carolina, despite visiting 40 other states in his first 2.5 years as President. Are you surprised at one more example of Obama’s “leading from behind”? I’m not. Barack Obama can’t defend the NLRB’s attacking private sector jobs, shoving Obamacare down our throats, and racking up trillions in debt. And now Barack Obama says he’s against the “Cut, Cap, and Balance” pledge that would cut federal spending, institute a spending cap, and add a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Thankfully,

June 9, 2011 Dear Fellow Republican, I’m proud of our South Carolina Republican Party. We are stronger than ever for a reason – South Carolinians trust the Republican Party to deliver on its promises. And we are doing just that. This year, our Republican-led State House and Senate have fought for and passed lawsuit abuse reform, Medicaid reform, a voter ID requirement, more on the record voting, and stand on the brink of passing even more historic reforms. Our five Republican Congressmen and nine Republican statewide officers are fostering job growth and defending South Carolina against Barack Obama and the
A Message from FreedomWorks: FreedomWorks has learned that “Organizing For America (OFA),” President Obama’s well-funded political outfit, is working to takeover South Carolina Congressman Mick Mulvaney’s town hall event tonight in Lake Wylie. Specifically, OFA plans to bus in left-wing activists from far and wide to protest the congressman’s support of a conservative, limited government agenda. It is critical that fiscal conservatives show up to counter OFA and support Rep. Mulvaney for his bold stance on the most important issues facing South Carolina and our country as a whole. SCGOP Call to Action: Stand for Reform! June 3, 2011 Find your Legislator here: http://www.scstatehouse.gov/cgi-bin/zipcodesearch.exe Dear Fellow Republican, Governor Haley asked our State Senate to not go home without passing critical, conservative reform legislation. Anti-reform Democrats have consistently opposed Governor Haley’s agenda and just yesterday ran out the clock on reform. But blaming them is simply not enough. The Republican-controlled Senate left Columbia without passing those bills; like Government Restructuring and a strong Arizona-style Illegal Immigration law. As a result, Governor Haley has called the General Assembly back next week to finish work on these and other important conservative reforms.

We are in the process of putting together AGGRESSIVE fundraising and political plans for 2011-2012. Using those plans, we will build on our historic victories and work towards a permanent, conservative majority in South Carolina. But we’ll need your help! Here are some areas in which you might get involved: House District 10 Special Election Six Republicans have filed to run

Columbia, SC – Today, South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Chad Connelly called on Congressman Jim Clyburn to end his hypocrisy on growing South Carolina’s economy. Congressman Clyburn yesterday tried to play both sides in the National Labor Relations Board’s attempt to stop Boeing from expanding into South Carolina, stating that the NLRB’s complaint lacks merit, yet defending its right to interfere with private enterprise. “Jim Clyburn seems more interested in protecting Washington bureaucrats than South Carolinians,” said SCGOP Chairman Chad Connelly. “Defending big labor and its millions of dollars in campaign contributions on behalf of the Obama White House isn’t
